BUCHEN is a brand of professional construction mixes engineered with German technology for the hot, dry climate of Central Asia: plasters, fillers, tile adhesives, waterproofing and primers. We built a catalogue site where a tradesman or foreman finds the right product by category, reads its application area and specs, and — instead of a 'cart with checkout' — submits a request: a manager selects mixes for the project and calculates consumption for free. Dedicated sections for tradesmen and dealers plus a technical blog — all in three languages.
The task. The brand had a strong product line but no storefront: its range lived in PDF price lists and messenger chats. A tradesman or foreman who needed a specific mix for a specific site had to call and wait — and some enquiries were lost before the conversation even started. For a B2B product, where the choice of mix depends on surface type, climate and consumption, that's a direct loss of leads.
The solution. We built the logic around a real buyer of building materials, not around an online shop: mixes are split into categories (adhesives, fillers, primers, waterproofing, grouts), each product page shows its application area and specs, and instead of a 'cart with checkout' there's a request. The tradesman adds the items he needs to a request, and a manager selects the mix for the project and calculates consumption for free. Dedicated sections for tradesmen and dealers, a technical blog and a full interface in three languages cover both retail and the wholesale channel. The team manages content and requests itself through an admin panel — no developers.
The result. Instead of scattered PDFs and chats, the brand now has a single online catalogue to point ads and dealers to, and enquiries arrive structured — with a clear mix and volume for a specific site, rather than 'please send your price list.'
